Madrid Gathering Promotes Dialogue and Diversity

Madrid gathered community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to mark cultural diversity and peaceful coexistence. The event, promoted by Fundación Mejora at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, focused on education, prevention and dialogue as tools against prejudice. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and eu news von der leyen human rights educator Denise González. Speakers shared different experiences and viewpoints on how mutual knowledge can help build more inclusive communities.

During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
